Zusammenfassung:	The image (30) has a set of grid fields (G0) with a diffused visual appearance that depends on an angle of observation. A grid pattern (M0) comprising a set of straight bar grid lines is assigned to each of the grid fields. The assigned grid pattern exhibits an orientation, which determines the angle of observation, where the grid pattern is visually recognized from the determined angle of observation. Each grid fields is predominantly filled with the grid pattern and is partly filled with adjacent-grid patterns (M1, M-1), which are assigned to the adjacent grid fields (G1, G-1). An independent claim is also included for a method for producing a grid image.
