Zusammenfassung:	An anesthetic container includes a bottle having a wall defining a receptacle and a neck with a passage in fluid communication with the receptacle, a valve assembly including a flange, and a ferrule disposed over at least a portion of the flange of the valve assembly and about at least a portion of the neck of the bottle to secure the valve assembly to the bottle. One of the wall of the bottle, the flange of the valve assembly or a wall of the ferrule has at least one vent formed, at least in part, therein that permits air trapped between the ferrule and the valve assembly or the bottle to escape.
