Zusammenfassung:	A load securing element with a base body includes a coupling portion for coupling a stop means, a support portion provided for insertion into an opening, and a connecting portion, which connects the coupling portion and the support portion to one another and thus keeps them spaced apart in such a way that a slot-like receiver is formed on the base body. The receiver is delimited at its upper side by the coupling portion, at its lower side by the support portion and at its rear by the connecting portion and is otherwise open, wherein the width of the receiver corresponds to a multiple of its height.
