Zusammenfassung:	An implant (400) for insertion within an intervertebral space (i) defined between adjacent vertebrae (V 1 , V 2 ) for supporting the vertebrae in predetermined spaced relation during healing. The implant comprises at least first and second support members (402; 404) dimensioned for insertion within the intervertebral space defined between adjacent vertebrae and having engaging surfaces (406; 408) for engaging vertebral end plates of the vertebrae, and a camming arrangement having at least one camming member (412) operatively engageable with the first and second support members, the camming member moveable to move the first and second support members between a non-deployed position and a deployed position.
