Zusammenfassung:	The invention relates to a fireproof ceramic gas cleaning stone having the following features: at least one segment having unaligned porosity and extending from an end on the gas inlet side to a side face of the gas cleaning stone on the outlet side, at least one segment having aligned porosity wherein a least one gas channel is formed, said channel extending from an end on the gas inlet side to the side face of the gas cleaning stone on the gas outlet side, and at least one connecting channel fluidically connecting the at least one gas channel of the segment having aligned porosity to the segment having unaligned porosity.
