Zusammenfassung:A turbine engine has a rotor shaft (25) rotatably carried within a non-rotating support structure (22). A seal (40) is carried by the support structure (22) circumscribing the shaft (25) and has a flexible sealing element (52) for sealing with the shaft (25). A chamber (120) is located between the seal and support structure. A fluid (122) is carried within the chamber (120) and damps radial excursion of a seal axis from a support structure axis. The seal (52) may be a full annulus or may be segmented. The fluid may be contained within one or more elastomeric bladders (216).
