Press punch for a rotary press

The stamp (10) has a shaft (12), and a stamp head (14) arranged at an end of the shaft. A pressing area is arranged at another end of the shaft. The head has an upper reflecting surface (16), an outer cylinder surface (18) and a curved transition area (20) that is formed between the reflecting surface and the cylinder surface. The reflecting surface and the transition area form a three-dimensional surface, where a course of the three-dimensional surface is described by a mathematical function, and height of the head is decreased from the reflecting surface to the cylinder surface constantly. An independent claim is also included for a rotary tabletting press comprising a press stamp.
