Use of carboxamides of formula (I) for promoting penetration of agrochemical active agents (B) into plants. R 1>-CO-NR 2>R 3> (I) R 1>3-19C alkyl; R 2>1-6C alkyl; R 3>hydrogen or 1-6C alkyl. Independent claims are also included for: (1) plant protection composition (A) containing 1-80% (I), 1-90% at least one (B) and 0-98% additives, with some (II) excluded; and (2) plant-protection composition (A1) 1-30% (I), 1-90% at least one (B) and 0-98% additives, where (B) is not tebuconazole or triadimenol.
