Zusammenfassung:The method involves forming an interconnecting conductor wire or strip (3) by a wireline technique, on a substrate (2) i.e. embroidery, where the wire has a set of terminal connection portions that are exposed on the substrate. Contacts (5, 6) of components e.g. biometric sensor (C1) and switch (C3), are transferred with respect to another set of terminal portions and are connected to the latter set of terminal portions by thermocompression welding or ultrasonic welding. An independent claim is also included for a device comprising contacts of a biometric sensor and a switch.
