Zusammenfassung:	The method for passivating galvanized steel strip in continuous flow process, comprises moving a coated strip through a bath with aqueous acid passivation solution, which consists of chromium-(III)-ion and cobalt salt and is free from chromium-(VI)-ion. The bath is heated at 30-50[deg] C and the strip is moved with a speed of 30 m/min through the bath. The bath is heated over a plastic heat exchanger. The bath is set to a temperature of 35-40[deg] C. An independent claim is included for a device for passivating galvanized steel strip in continuous flow process. Die Erfindung betrifft ein Verfahren zur Passivierung von Metallsubstratbändern, insbesondere verzinkten Stahlbändern im Durchlaufverfahren, wobei das beschichtete Band durch ein Bad mit wässriger saurer Passivierungslösung bewegt wird, die Chrom-(III)-Ionen und Kobaltsalze enthält und frei von Chrom-(VI)-Ionen ist. Hierbei wird das Bad auf eine Temperatur von zwischen 30° und 50° C erhitzt, wobei das Band mit einer Geschwindigkeit von zwischen 20 und 40 Metern pro Minute durch das Bad geführt wird.
