Zusammenfassung:A drive and drive kinematics (1) are proposed for linearly feeding a breech or a cartridge into a weapon barrel, having a straight link groove (3) into which a driver (5), which is detachably physically connected to the breech (2), is guided via a drive means (6), a slotted link (7) in which a transmission means (8) is guided, wherein the transmission means (8) and drive means (6) are connected to one another with a force fit, and a means (9) is included between the drive means (6) and the driver (5), which means (9) detaches the driver (5) from the breech (2), in particular in times during which the breech (2) is stationary.
