Zusammenfassung:	The method involves setting a parameter value of a home automation equipment item e.g. intruder alarm, involved in definition of a scenario. The parameter value of the equipment item is implemented by action on a specific equipment control unit to modify a state of the equipment item and by action on a control device to modify appearance of a graphic representation e.g. equipment icon, of the equipment item. The parameter value is saved in a scenario memory. Appearance of the graphic representation is modified and validated. Independent claims are also included for the following: (1) a home automation system comprising a home automation equipment item controlling device (2) a computer program having a set of instructions to perform a method for operating a home automation system.
