Zusammenfassung:	The present invention provides a lubricating composition comprising a base oil selected from the group consisting of a Fischer-Tropsch derived base oil and a poly-alpha olefin (PAO) base oil or a combination thereof, wherein the composition has a TBN (Total Base Number) value of from 3.5 to 70 mg KOH/g as determined according to ASTM D 2896, and wherein the composition has a soap content of from 15 to 30 mM.
