| Zusammenfassung: | A method of encapsulating paging messages into a packet is provided. The method includes: receiving paging messages sent from a mobile switching center (MSC); and encapsulating the paging messages. In an embodiment of the present invention, the paging messages received from the MSC are encapsulated according to cells or stations, and the encapsulated paging messages are sent to a base station. Therefore, both the number of the paging messages sent over a paging link and the total length of the paging messages are decreased, and the downlink load for delivering the paging messages is efficiently reduced. |
