Zusammenfassung: | A silver oxidation catalyst 1, which can be used in place of a catalyst comprising noble metals such as Pt and Pd supported, is provided. The silver oxidation catalyst 1 comprising silver supported on alumina, is formed by firing silver and alumina at 900°C - 1100°C in the air, and reducing the silver and the alumina at 100 °C - 500 °C. A precursor of the alumina of the silver oxidation catalyst 1 is preferably boehmite. The alumina of the silver oxidation catalyst 1 preferably includes a ¸ phase alumina. An amount of the silver of the silver oxidation catalyst 1 is preferably in a range of 3 - 50 mass% for the mass of the silver oxidation catalyst. |
