One of the turbochargers is not connected with the electrical machine and provided with the geometry. A subset of the turbochargers is coupled with the electrical machine and provided with the geometry. The other turbochargers are not coupled with the electrical machine and provided with the geometry. An exhaust-gas catalytic converter is arranged before or after a turbine.
