Zusammenfassung:	A cooling composition comprising at least one compound of the Formula I in which R is selected from the group of moieties consisting of (CH2)nCOOR″; (CH2)nCONMe2; (CH2)nOR″; and CHNH2CH3; where n is 1-3 and R″ is independently selected from hydrogen, methyl and ethyl; and R′ is selected from the group consisting of the moieties fenchyl, D-bornyl, L-bornyl, exo-norbornyl, 2-methylisobornyl, 2-ethylfenchyl, 2-methylbornyl, cis-pinan-2-yl, verbanyl and isobornyl. The compositions are useful in providing cooling sensations to the skin or mucous membranes of the body.
