Zusammenfassung:	The present invention is directed to a color-pigmented paint composition with high hiding power, comprising a solvent or a solvent mixture and a.) based on the total formulation, 1% to 80% by weight of a polysilazane of the formula (1) -(SiR'R''-NR''')n-(1) and b.) based on the total formulation 1% to 15% by weight, particularly 2% to 8% by weight, of one or more pigments wherein R', R'', and R''' are alike or different and independently of one another are hydrogen or an unsubstituted or substituted alkyl, aryl, vinyl or (trialkoxysilyl)alkyl radical, n being an integer and n having a magnitude such that the polysilazane has a number average molecular weight of 150 to 150 000 g/mol.
