Electrophotographic photoreceptor

Disclosed is an electrophotographic photoreceptor which is excellent in wear resistance and electrical characteristics. Specifically disclosed is an electrophotographic photoreceptor containing a polyester resin in a photosensitive layer provided on an electroconductive substrate. The polyester resin is composed of a copolymer of formula (5). wherein {a/(a+b)}>0.7, A is: (wherein Ra 1 and Ra 2 represents a hydrogen atom or a monovalent substituent which may have a substituent, and n and m is from 0 to 4.), F is: (wherein X 2 represents a single bond or a bivalent group; each of R 7 and R 8 represents a hydrogen atom, an alkyl group, an aryl group, a halogen group, or an alkoxy group; and k and 1 are from 1 to 4.), and G is: (wherein x 3 represents a bivalent group.)
