Zusammenfassung:	The invention relates to a method for the determination of deposits on an ultrasonic transducer (10) during the operation thereof, wherein the conductance of the ultrasonic transducer (10) is determined by means of impedance spectroscopy, wherein the conductance is used to measure an attenuation (R) and a resonance (O) of the ultrasonic transducer (10). The resonance (O) is plotted over the attenuation (R) in a coordinate system and, from the resulting location points of said resonance (O), possible deposits are deduced.
