Beschreibung
Zusammenfassung:	A clamp (20) is disclosed which structurally replaces a cracked P3a weld in the piping of a BWR's core spray line (10). The clamp includes upper and lower clamp bodies (22, 24) that are joined together by clamp bolts (30) held by keeper nuts (32) with crimp collars (54) engaging the bolts (30). Upper and lower curved jaws (26, 28) of the clamp bodies (22, 24) contact the piping (10) at a plurality of contact points (39) to form gaps (37) between the piping (10) and curved jaws (26, 28) to thereby ensure that the clamp (20) engages the piping (10) and seals the cracked weld. Conically shaped ends of stop bolts (40) inserted into the upper curved jaw (26) seat into conical holes (45) machined in the core spray line piping (10) to prevent the piping (10) cracked weld from separating after the clamp (20) is installed.
