Zusammenfassung:	The watch has an electric motor (5) i.e. stepping motor, driving an analogue display unit (6) e.g. dial, and a switch (9) actuated by an external control actuator for selectively connect an output connection (A) to a voltage level (Vdd). An electric motor control circuit has three-state gates respectively connected to output connections (A, D). The circuit has a test mode in which gates have high impedance, where an output voltage at the gate is measured. The external control actuator, whose actuation is determined based on the measured output voltage.
