Zusammenfassung:A method to provide QoS service on top of a best-effort service in a P2P communication network wherein end-users (STB1-5) store multimedia content (A; B), e.g. video, received from a multimedia server (VoDSS). The multimedia content is transferred between distinct end-users via network-node NW elements (M1; M2, M3). A Peer-to-Peer P2P control server (P2P1; P2P2) coupled to the end-users supervises and manages the multimedia content in the storage means of these end-users and controls the network-node NW elements to transfer multimedia content between end-users. The P2P control server itself is not provided with storage means.
