Multilayer actuator and method for producing same

The actuator (1) has an electrode layer (2) arranged between two deformable layers (3) and comprising a dielectric and cross linking material. The deformable layers are cross linked with each other in an attachment area outside of the electrode layer. The electrode layer is cross linked with one of the deformable layers. The electrode layer is made of electrical conductive polymer. The electrode layer exhibits in a carbon particle. The layers (2, 3) that are arranged adjacent to each other are held in a shell made of dielectric material. The material of the deformable layers and/or electrode layers are cross linked using UV-and electron rays. An independent claim is also included for a method for manufacturing of the multi-layer actuator.
