Gas exposition device

The device comprises a reaction chamber (3) with a gas-containing inlet (5) through which a cord-like product (9) is continuously supplied and with an outlet (7) through which the cord-like product discharges from the reaction chamber, siphon (11, 13) filled with water and formed at the inlet and outlet, a device intended for dosing the gas and connected with a gas recirculation unit, and a suction device (33, 37) to suck gaseous fluid evaporated from the siphon, arranged at the inlet and outlet on a side of the siphon turned away from the reaction chamber. The device comprises a reaction chamber (3) with a gas-containing inlet (5) through which a cord-like product (9) is continuously supplied and with an outlet (7) through which the cord-like product discharges from the reaction chamber, siphon (11, 13) filled with water and formed at the inlet and outlet, a device intended for dosing the gas and connected with a gas recirculation unit, and a suction device (33, 37) to suck gaseous fluid evaporated from the siphon, arranged at the inlet and outlet on a side of the siphon turned away from the reaction chamber. The cord-like product is discharged from the reaction chamber and guided by the siphon. The reaction chamber is connected with the gas recirculation unit through which the gas contained in the reaction chamber is circulated. The gas recirculation unit comprises a gas dryer in which the circulated gas is dried, and a device (25) for analyzing the gas composition. An independent claim is included for a process for halogenation of cord-like elastomer profiles in a device.
