Composition comprises: 2,4-diaminopyrimidine-3-N-oxide (I) and/or its salt of organic or inorganic acid and/or hydrate; and carbohydrate compounds (II) or their mixtures, or an extract of Centella asiatica comprising (II), in a medium. Composition comprises: 2,4-diaminopyrimidine-3-N-oxide (I) and/or its salt of organic or inorganic acid and/or hydrate; and carbohydrate compounds of formula (II) or their mixtures, or an extract of Centella asiatica comprising (II), in a medium. R 1, R 2H or (-CH 3); and R 3-CH 3, where R 1and R 2are not simultaneously H. An independent claim is included for a method for cosmetic treatment of human keratin fibers and/or scalp to stimulate, induce the growth of human keratin fibers, preferably hair and eyelashes, and/or stop their fall comprising: applying the composition on human keratin fibers and/or skin emerging from the fibers; leaving to contact the composition with the keratin fibers and/or scalp; and optionally rinsing the keratin fibers and/or scalp.
