Position measurement system

The position measuring system has a bearing, where a rod (10) is guided in the bearing, which is made of magnetizable material and has an outer diameter (D). The rod has a recess (12), where a magnet (14) is arranged in the recess within a cylinder barrel-shaped cladding surface around the rod.
