Method and device for setting up a user account

The method involves setting up communication connections (10, 12) between a user account setting up- and/or -managing device (8) and a subscriber (1) over a mobile radio network (4). A unique identifier e.g. international mobile subscriber identity (IMSI), associated with the subscriber is transmitted from the subscriber to the device by using the communication connections in the radio network. User accounts (14, 14') for the subscriber are generated by using the identifier of the subscriber on part of the device. Independent claims are also included for the following: (1) an end terminal for operating in a mobile radio network (2) a network node for operating in a mobile radio network.
