| Zusammenfassung: | A method for updating a smartcard and a smartcard having update capability The invention relates to a method for transferring data to a smartcard (106) connected to a mobile terminal (100) having access to a mobile communication network (102), the method comprising the steps of:
- receiving via a first communication channel a security token in the smartcard (106) from a server (108) connected to the mobile communication network (102), the security token comprising a security feature for validating the data and being at least partly encrypted.
- decrypting the encrypted parts of the security token in the smartcard (106);
- receiving via a second communication channel the data from a database (110) connected to the mobile terminal (100) in the smartcard (106) and
- validating the data in the smartcard (106) using the security feature contained in the security token. The invention further relates to a smartcard for conducting the method. |
