Zusammenfassung:	The method involves determining a maximum acceptable charge in an electrical storer (11) i.e. battery, for each speed of a hybrid vehicle. The maximum acceptable charge is determined from a maximum capacity of the electrical storer and from a kinetic energy retrieved during deceleration of the vehicle until the vehicle is stopped, such that the electrical storer recovers all deceleration energy. A torque set value to be applied to an electrical machine (53) is determined in order to accomplish the maximum acceptable charge. The torque set value is applied to the electrical machine. An independent claim is also included for a device for controlling an electric charge in a hybrid vehicle system that comprises an electrical storer and an electric machine.
