Zusammenfassung:	The element (100) has two disc shaped transparent substrates (101, 102) defining a hollow space (104). A transparent coating system is coated in a surface region on the substrate (102). The coating system includes an electrically conductive layer (106), a light emitting layer (105) and another electrically conductive layer (107). An electric voltage is switchable between the layers (106, 107). The substrates are made of glass or plastic. A silver layer is embedded between the layers (106, 107). Another coating system includes a nickel chromium layer.
