Zusammenfassung:	The device (1) has a set of blowing stations (4) arranged in a transport device (2) i.e. blowing wheel, for expanding preforms to plastic containers. Each blowing station has a receiving area for each preform to be expanded. A supply line supplies gaseous medium to the preform. A valve (12) controls the supply of the gaseous medium to the preform. A horizontal bar stretches the preforms. Each station has a drive device (16) for moving the horizontal bar, and a control device (20) for controlling the valve and the drive device for producing the containers. An independent claim is also included for a method for producing a plastic container.
