The material web is held in force-fit manner on the layer over the holding area lying between the trench areas, and the trench areas are drawn on elastic underlay. An independent claim is included for a device for mechanical structuring of thin-film solar cells, present in form of a prefabricated material web on a flexible carrier layer together with a layer construction.
