Zusammenfassung:The method involves representing a continuously changing measurement value over a unit time or a unit path by bars (5), where the bars are represented on a touch screen (3). Another continuously changing measurement value within progress bars (8) is represented by slider buttons. Time or a waypoint (10) within the former measurement valve is selected within the bars. A function is selected and executed depending on the time or the waypoint. Representation of a stretch of way or a driving way takes place in a linear manner by the bars. An independent claim is also included for a device for executing a function dependent of time or a waypoint for a motor vehicle.
