Zusammenfassung:A method of operating a mobile communication device, which includes at least two parts, which can be oriented with respect to one another in a first and a second position to thereby provide two different physical appearances of the mobile communication device, wherein a display region and navigation keys of the mobile communication device are accessible to a user when the at least two parts of the mobile communication device are oriented with respect to one another in the first position, is disclosed. The method includes setting the mobile communication device in a standby mode by means of orienting the at least two parts of the mobile communication device with respect to one another in the second position, wherein no calls are capable of being placed or received in the standby mode.
