Zusammenfassung:	The method involves compositing printing products from a printed sheet (1), and evaluating composition information that characterizes the printed sheet with respect to the printed sheet characteristics for checking the composition of the printing products. The information of the printed sheet is compared with information derived from another printed sheet during the evaluation. An error signal is generated when a faulty composition of the printing products is detected, where the composition information is coded according to a coding method and decoded in a controlling device (50). An independent claim is also included for a device for executing a method for manufacturing a printing product.
