Zusammenfassung:An actuating arrangement for releasing and/or opening a flap member (110), e.g. a liftglass at the rear of a vehicle, comprises a switch element (210) located below the flap member (110) which is arranged to be switched by a foot of the user. Upon switching, the switch element causes an electrically operated latching member to release the liftglass (110) so that it can be manually opened. Switching of the switch element (210) may also cause a handle assembly to pivot a handle to reveal a clean area by which the user can raise the liftglass (110).
