Zusammenfassung:	The present invention concerns a child seat having an advanced safety harness (20). The safety harness (20) has an upper body restraining strap configuration (35) and a lower body restraining strap configuration (36), with the lower body restraining strap configuration (36) having upper strap supply points (24) on the child seat back (22) which are separate from upper strap supply points (21) of the upper body restraining strap configuration (35). As such, the occupant's upper and lower body can be restrained substantially separately in the event of an accident.
