At least two separate activation states that correspond to a predefined functionality set presently applicable to the user of a switched-on user terminal are defined. Messages of at least one push service are transmitted from a server to a user terminal. The current activation state of the user terminal is detected, and an indication on it is provided to the server. The server adjusts sending of messages of the push service according to the current activation state of the user terminal. |
