An object of the present invention is to provide a showcase wherein an insulating wall (6) and a top plate (44) of a machine room (2) covering a lower surface of the insulating wall (44) can be stably held and the strength of the entire showcase can be improved. In the showcase, a display room (3) is provided over the insulating wall (6); a machine room (2) is provided under the insulating wall (6); a compressor (18), a condenser (19) and the like of a cooling unit (R) are disposed in the machine room (2); a cooling room (24) is provided in the insulating wall (6); and an evaporator (26) and a cooling fan (27) of the cooling unit (R) are disposed in the cooling room (24) so that cold air heat-exchanged with the evaporator (26) is circulated in the display room (3) by the cooling fan (27), and the showcase further comprises a top plate (44) of the machine room (2) to cover the lower surface of the insulating wall (6), and the top plate (44) is mounted on and fixed to a pipe plate (47) of the condenser (19) to hold the insulating wall (6).
