The buffer is height adjustable regarding to the mounting element. The buffer has a plastic material, particularly a thermoplastic elastomer, or rubber. The buffer has a buffer body (3) turned away from the mounting element and a connecting element (4) facing to the mounting element. The connecting element is made from a hard plastic material, particularly from polyamide or polyoxymethylene.
