Zusammenfassung:	The device (10) has a base body (16) with a transparent plate (22) for a predetermined wavelength region. The base body has base regions (34, 36), which allow an attachment of the device on a cornea surface (14) of an eye (12) such that a receiving space (26) for a fluid e.g. water, is formed between the transparent plate and the cornea surface of the eye. An inlet (40) is provided on the base body for allowing the fluid in the receiving space. The transparent plate is made of glass, and the base body is formed of surgical steel. An independent claim is also included for a system inserted at an eye.
