| Zusammenfassung: | The invention relates to a method and system for pausing a real-time data stream from a second node to a first node, and consequently resuming said data stream, wherein a real-time data stream is sent from the second node to the first node, using a transport protocol having packets with identifiers; and said data stream is interrupted, whereupon the first node requests the second node to resume the interrupted data stream, using a control protocol, wherein a transport protocol packet identifier of a packet of the data stream received by the first node before interrupting said data stream is used by the control protocol to indicate from which packet onwards the interrupted data stream has to be sent by the second node. |
