Zusammenfassung:Rigid polyvinyl chloride compositions are disclosed that are suitable for use in applications such as window profiles, door frames, siding, fences, gutters, pipes, electrical junction boxes, automobile interiors and exteriors, appliances, office equipment or medical devices. The disclosed compositions include polyvinyl chloride polymers or copolymers having incorporated therein 2,2,4-trimethyl-1,3-pentanediol diisobutyrate in amounts so as to improve the impact properties of the compositions. Processes for making such compositions are also disclosed.
