Zusammenfassung:	The equipment comprises a reactor (R), which is dimensioned such that a retention time is sufficient for degradation of organic impurities, and a circulation pump (P). A heat exchanger (W) and connecting pipes are also provided. The reactors and the pipes are made of steel lined with enameled steel or polytetrafluoroethylene. High temperature heat transfer oil is used as heating medium. Cast steel with 14-18 % of silicon-content is used as material for an acid-moistened part of the heat exchanger. The heat exchanger consists of an interior pipe (i), which is made of cast steel containing silicon and an outer pipe (a), which is made of steel. The pump consists of a corrosion resistant material like cast steel containing silicon or a fluorine polymer plastic.
