Zusammenfassung:	The sulfur evaporator (3) has a heat source (28) in form of an electrically operated heating coil (15) embedded in the container (9) made of ceramic material, having a wall (11), with a receiving space (13) for sulfur (14) which is to be evaporated. The heat source is integrated in the form of the heating coil and the container is integrated in a single piece body with the receiving chamber for the sulfur. The heating coil is arranged partly in the wall of the container.
