Zusammenfassung:	The pigment formulation comprises one or multiple inorganic or organic pigments dispersed in a liquid. Additives or fillers are also provided as per requirement with a thickener in combination with one or multiple compounds. The liquid is water, liquid mixable with water, liquid non-mixable with water or their mixture. The inorganic pigment is ferric oxide, titanium dioxide, chromium oxide, zinc oxide, rutile mixed phase pigment, soot or their mixture. The organic pigment is azo, chin-acridone, phthalocyanine, perylene, indigoid pigment or their mixture. INDEPENDENTS CLAIMS are included for: (1) a method for producing pigment formulation, which involves adding a thickener in combination with one or multiple compounds to the dispersion of one or multiple inorganic or organic pigments in a liquid; and (2) a method for pigmenting lime or cement-bound building materials, which involves mixing pigment formulation with lime or cement-bound building materials.
