Zusammenfassung:	The present invention relates to a device for regulating the suction power of a vacuum cleaner with an activatable fan motor, it being possible to use the device to set a control signal for activating the fan motor to a certain value in each case between two positions A and B optionally by hand or foot. According to the invention, turbo operation of the fan motor can be activated beyond a first end position B. Devices for regulating the suction power of a vacuum cleaner which operate according to the invention advantageously supplement defined power ranges L1, L2, L3 by a turbo-operation mode, of which the power range is suitable for cleaning stubborn and very heavy soiling.
