Zusammenfassung:	The vacuum absorption device has a heat source (3) with a first heat exchanger (1), an absorber (4) with a second heat exchanger (2) and an absorption medium that periodically absorbs or desorbs refrigerant and an absorber circuit (6) filled with a heat carrier medium that connects the heat exchangers with a connecting line (5) with first and second hydraulic branches (7,10) to feed and return lines (8,11) of a heating circuit. The second hydraulic branch has a shut-off capability. An independent claim is also included for a method of operating an inventive device.
