The parking position switch has a contact disc (14) or contact layer arranged at the gearwheel, where the contact disc or the contact layer is arranged opposite to the transmission housing. Two sliding contacts lie at the contact disc, where the sliding contacts are mechanically connected with the transmission housing. The parking position switch has a micro switch that is arranged between the gearwheel and the transmission housing.
